Lyon a Tiger?

Lynn Henning and Jon Morosi are both reporting that the Tigers appear to be close to signing right-handed reliever Brandon Lyon. Terms of the contract are unknown at this time and he needs to pass a physical before the deal is complete. I talked about Lyon in depth yesterday. Assuming, the deal does go as expected, I would expect that he would be the front runner for the closer role. At the very least, he gives them a much needed reliable arm at the back end of the bullpen. Assuming this is not more than a two year contract, I think it's a good move for the Tigers.
