Bonderman, Zumaya Updates

Tom Gage of the Detroit News is reporting that Jeremy Bonderman is having his scheduled start pushed back to Tuesday due to a blister problem: This means that Chad Durbin will pitch tomorrow in his place.

Jeremy Bonderman's scheduled start (Sunday against the Royals) was moved back to Tuesday night against Seattle at Comerica Park because of a blister on the middle finger of his right hand. That's the same blister which bothered Bonderman in his last start, and it's proven to be stubborn, but not serious enough for him to be skipped entirely.

Gage also has more news on the Joel Zumaya injury. The Tigers are calling it a "right middle finger strain and have already placed him on the 15 day disabled list. He is being replaced on the roster by Aquilino Lopez.
