Average Fielding Rank for Right Fielders in 2006

In an earlier post, I introduced my system for combining fielding metrics. I rank players at each position on 4 fielding evaluation systems (ZR, PMR, DFT and Fielding Bible Awards) and arrive at an Average Fielding Rank (AFR). Today, I'll look at how the right fielders rank. Other positions can be found at the links below:

C 1B 2B 3B SS LF CF

The Table below lists Major League right fielders with 600 or more innings in 2006. Alex Rios lead the Majors with an AFR of 3.25 and ranked no worse than 5th on any measure. J.D. Drew finished 2nd at 5.00 and Ichiro Suzuki was third at 5.50. Jeromy Burnitz finished last with an average of 25.00.

Magglio Ordonez was the Tigers lowest ranking regular finishing with an AFR of 21.25. Ordonez's ranks ranged from 17th on zone rating to 25th on PMR.
