Last year, fellow blogger Kyle (also known as deadshot) tried out for the Detroit Tigers in an open tryout down in Lakeland , Florida. He did not make it but he had a great story to tell. His tale attracted a good deal of attention from some major sports blogs including the Sports Illustrated site. He's trying out again this year and will write about his experience again but this time he is doing it for a cause.
