Tigers sign Adam Everett

As expected, the Tigers have signed Adam Everett to a one year deal. There is no word on how much he'll be getting. I'm happy to hear this because I didn't like the talk of them going after Bobby Crosby. I'd rather have a very good defender who can't hit than an average defender who can't hit. I also was far from convinced that rookie Brent Dlugach would have been an adequate replacement. Everett will probably split time with Ramon Santiago as he did last year. This signing may have been the reason they earlier removed Zach Simons from the 40 man roster.
