Bad Game for Tigers

The Tigers lost to the Pirates 9-2 tonight in their most poorly played game in a long time. They made 5 errors including three in a row in a 7 run 7th for the Pirates. At the plate, they left 13 men on base. It was a bad game all around. Teams have games like this, even teams that are 55-26.

Meanwhile, the White Sox and Twins kept up their winning ways with come from behind victories and pulled a game closer in the standings. The White Sox defeated the Cubs 8-6 on a 3 run home run by AJ Pierzynski in the 9th. The Twins scored 4 in the bottom of the 8th to defeat the Brewers 10-7. Here is how the three rivals stand at the mid-point of the season:
