Ledezma Up, Seay DFA

According to Jason Beck's blog, the Tigers have promoted Will Ledezma and designated Bobby Seay for assignment. Ledezma has had an excellent season for Toledo this year after struggling mightily everywhere he pitched last year. In 12 starts for the MudHens this year, he pitched 71 1/3 innings allowing 60 hits and 23 walks while piling up 66 strikeouts. He will not be starting for the Tigers, at least not initially. Here is what Beck says about his expected role:
Ledezma will be used out of the bullpen, most likely as a combination situational lefty and long reliever depending on what they need.
Seay was not helping the Tigers much with his 6.46 ERA in 15 1/3 innings as a situational lefty so this is a good move.
