Since he is a good athlete and is moving down the defensive spectrum, I would expect him to be above average. I'm not sure I would go as high as +17 if I was going to make a projection but I tend to be conservative.

For what it's worth, these Lee Panashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17148118898954670307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17907776.post-65493096226607021292008-02-02T02:01:00.000-05:002008-02-02T02:01:00.000-05:00Lee, I'm running a quick and dirty projection of r...Lee, I'm running a quick and dirty projection of runs added and subtracted offensively and defensively this year. He would have been ahead of Pujols but 179 innings is too small of a sample size for it to mean much. I think it would be like a batter getting hot for 80 at bats.Lee Panashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17148118898954670307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17907776.post-27191634540205353932008-01-16T12:06:00.000-05:002008-01-16T12:06:00.000-05:00Knowing this, I'm at a complete loss as to why the...Knowing this, I'm at a complete loss as to why the Angels would want Paul Konerko...

Even though he doesn't qualify, is there enough data out there to support the belief that Guillen is an upgrade over Casey defensively?Eddie Bajekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03494565377437295198noreply@blogger.com
