It'll be interesting to see how he fits into the clubhouse. He should definitely give the lineup a boost if he stays healthy and can avoid any kind of slump.

I was very happy when I heard about this yesterday. I am even more tickled today. As a DH he should rock, even at his age. the Tigers are playing to win NOW, not just in the future. Yes, we parted with some of the future but that's what teams with depth do to win right now. Great trade for both teams from what I can see.
