Yeah, I would agree that the offense was the problem in the opener and that's one part of the team I am not the least bit worried about this year.

I agree with Adam. It felt like we had the game and should have won it, we just didn't. We had almost zero timely hitting and the pen kept it close. Hopefully, with that many base runners and that many big hitters the club can get more than 4 runs a game.

I think the pen did a more than mediocre job. <BR/><BR/>5 & 1/3 innings and only giving up 3 runs! (Plus inheriting 2 runners at the start) What more can one really hope for from ANY bullpen. If you got this production from a starter, you would call it a "quality start".<BR/><BR/>Simply, the offense failed us.
